This image was instrumental in the evolution of the idea of Stokes Croft as an Outdoor Gallery. It shows a street scene from the mid 1900s when the Royal Naval Volunteer Reserve Centre occupied 37-39 Jamaica St, a building known locally as The Carriageworks, now home to Jamaica St Artists, and neighbour to Stokes Croft China & PRSC. The walls were all painted with various letter forms, not unlike the murals of today.

We offer handcrafted black frames in either A3 or A2 sizes, including fixings for hanging. All made onsite in our shared artist studio by Select Framing, it doesn't get much more local really!

Delivery and Returns

We decorate all our chinaware by hand and fire it here on site, so orders may take up to three weeks to arrive. If you're in a hurry please call us on 0117 944 4540 to check availability.
